Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I move in?
Every apartment is set up with a refrigerator, oven, air conditioning, and cable access, and you can use the shared on-site laundry room whenever you need it.
Most people are in about 48 to 72 hours after the application is approved, the deposit is paid, and the lease is signed. If your documents come in quickly, we can often move even faster.
What unit types are available and what are the rents?
We have budget studio apartments from $800 a month and 1 bed / 1 bath apartments from $850 a month. A larger 4 bed / 2 bath house is also available nearby at $1,300 a month for anyone who needs the extra room.
What are the lease terms and security deposits?
The studio is $800 a month with an $800 security deposit, which equals one month of rent.
The 1 bedroom is $850 a month with an $850 security deposit.
Every lease depends on an approved application, the $50.00 non-refundable application fee, and completing screening. Leases usually run 12 months with the option to renew.
How much is the application fee?
The application fee is $50.00 and is non-refundable.
What qualifications do I need to rent?
Your gross monthly income needs to be at least 3 times the rent, so about $2,400 a month for the studio at $800 and $2,550 a month for the 1 bedroom at $850. We ask for proof of income during the application.
We also look for no recent evictions, no criminal background, and solid credit. Every adult 18 and older who will live in the apartment fills out an application and goes through screening.
Is internet and cable available?
Yes, the apartments are cable ready and wired for high-speed internet. You choose the provider and set up the service in your own name.
Are pets allowed?
No dogs or cats.
Verified service and assistance animals are accommodated as required by law.
What utilities are included in the rent?
Trash is included.
Residents cover the rest, which means electric, water and sewer, and internet or cable.
How easy is it to get downtown without a car?
The CMAX rapid transit line runs right along Cleveland Avenue with frequent buses straight into Downtown Columbus, so many residents here skip the car entirely.
